Balmoral is a classic, northwoods layout on the southeast side of Otter Tail Lake 30 minutes east of Fergus Falls.

The layout is traditional design with oak, maple, pine, ash, and birchold trees lining all the fairways testing accuracy off the tee. There's little in the way of sand traps, but multiple water hazards in the form of streams and lakes. It's been around since the early 1960s and was designed by Arnold Hemquist with tees from 5,195 yards to 6,280 at the tips, 70.3/120, course/slope ratings.
