The Battle Island State Park Golf Course is a municipal layout located 29 miles northwest of downtown Syracuse on a bend in the Oswego River.

The golf course is etched through the deep woods along the river over level, river bottom land. It's a straightforward, parkland design gliding along fairways defined by mature hardwoods leading to generous, circular green complexes. It can play to 5,973 yards, 68.9/121, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Frederick Emerick.
