Bay Valley is located south of Bay City off US 23 at MI 84/Westside Saginaw exit.

The course is a parkland style layout on level terrain roaming through a residential development with ponds and the Squaconning Creek in play on 13 holes and multiple sand bunkers defending the broad fairways and generous, contoured greens. It was designed by Desmond Muirhead and has tees from 5,545 yards to 6,666 yards, the middle tees are at 6,175 yards, 70.1/125, course/slope ratings.
