Saginaw Valley is midway between Saginaw and Bay City, just off I-75/US 23 at the 160 exit to the south.
The layout is a testing parkland-style design winding along tree-lined fairways over relatively level terrain. There is ample sand bunkering along the fairways and surrounding the greens, and numerous ponds and streams are in play. It was originally designed by Larry Packard in the 1950s. It has three sets of tees from 5,823 yards to 6,966 yards at the tips, 73.3.125 course/slope ratings.
