Baylands is the reconstitution of the former Palo Alto Municipal Golf Course and located just east of the 101 Freeway at Embarcadero just south of the Dumbarton Bridge.

It's a classic, links-style layout over wide open undulating dunesland exposed to the constant wind off the Bay. The layout traverses the protected wetlands of the bayland along fairways littered with conventional and pot bunkers and features 14 massive green complexes two of which are shared greens. There's four sets of tees from 4,821 yards to 6,680 yards at the tips, 72.4/129, course/slope rating, an original Billy Bell design, redesigned by Forrest Richardson.
