Beau Pre is up in the Eureka just south of the Arcata Airport on Norton Road.

The course is set out on its own without homes or development with an occasional peek at the Pacific over a blend of rolling and level, terrain. It's a parkland style layout with pine and spruce, tree lined fairways, water in play on half the holes, a moderate amount of sand bunkers, and modest greens. It plays to a total yardage of 5,748, par 71, 68.9/121, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, built in 1967 by the owner Don Harling.
