Black Creek is in a residential community west of Savannah off I-16 at exit exit 143 about a mile.

The golf course is a parkland style layout along fairways lined with homes or trees with abundant water and sand in play, and is generally straightforward yet with several doglegs to navigate. It was designed by Jim Bevins in 1994 and can play to 6,309 from the black tees, 70.4/130, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
