Blackstone is just off I-10 at Defuniak Springs midway between Mobile and Tallahassee.

The golf course is a challenging layout lumbering through narrow and hilly, tree lined corridors in a scenic setting without homes or development alongside the holes. It's generally straightforward save for several slight doglegs with a modest amount of sand traps and Boggy Creek cutting across the middle of the course. The course plays to 6,035 yards from the white tees, 69.0/121 course and slope ratings, designed by Bill Amick.
