The layout provides a mix of parkland and links-style design elements, with numerous water hazards and well-bunked fairways and greens. The front nine begins through a meadow area and ventures down into the Iowa River valley floor, while the backside moves up in the hills with a stirring finish. It's a Rees Jones design of 7,442 yards from the $1,000 tees, 77.6/146 course/slope ratings, and four shorter tees.
