Bretwood is just north of Keene on 12A with two 18-hole courses along either side of the Ashuelot River, surrounded by the Greater Goose Pond Forest.

Both layouts are parkland-style designs, with the River and numerous water hazards constantly in play as they journey along level, tree-lined fairways with a variety of doglegs and sand bunkers both at the landing zones and guarding the greens. The North course is 6,974 yards, 73.9/132, course/slope ratings from the gold tees with three shorter tees; the South course is 6,950, 73.2/133, designed by Geoffrey Cornish and Hugh Barrett.
