Bretwood is just north of Keene on 12A with two 18 hole courses along either side of the Ashuelot River surrounded by the Greater Goose Pond Forest.

Both layouts are parkland style designs with the River and numerous water hazards in play constantly as they journey along level, tree lined fairways with a variety of doglegs and sand bunkers both at the landing zones and guarding the greens. The North course is 6,974 yards, 73.9/132, course/slope ratings from the gold tees with three shorter tees; the South is 6,950, 73.2/133, designed by Geoffrey Cornish and Hugh Barrett.
