The Hooper Golf Club is located at the top of Prospect Hill in the village of Walpole about 30 minutes north of Brattleboro off I-91 overlooking the Green Mountains and the Connecticut River Valley.

The golf course is a classic, New England layout along rolling fairways caved into a clearing of old growth hardwood forests. It was designed in the 1920s by Wayne Stiles and John Van Kleek, notable golf course architects of the day. Their philosophy was to use the natural contours of the land and then fold in bumps, swales, and hollows along with numerous sand bunkers protecting the approaches and sides of the ample greens complexes. It's just a 9 holer at 3,033 yards from the men's tees, and for 18 holes measures 6,028 yards, 68.8/119 course and slope ratings, par 71.
