Broad Run is just west of West Chester on Strasburg Road in the far western Philadelphia suburbs.

The golf course is a diverse and well designed, parkland layout over a large tract of rolling land bisected by Broad Run on one of the highest points in Chester County. The course traverses along broad fairways on a 370 acre tract of land with 130 feet in elevation change. The fairways are bordered by a mix of dense forest or stands of hardwood trees and tall native grasses with a generous amount of sand traps and several water features. There's five sets of tees and from the tips it's 6,751 yards, 72.8/136, course/slope ratings, designed by Rees Jones in 2000.
