Brookwood CC is on the east side of Flint in Burton off I-69 at the Belsay Rd exit a few miles to the north.

The layout is a parkland style design with the fairways defined by trees over rolling terrain along numerous slight doglegs. In terms of hazards, there's Kearsley Creek traversing the layout and multiple ponds with sand bunkers positioned along the landing zones and defending the greens. It was designed by Joe Szilagyi and plays to 6,911 yards, 73.1/130, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees.
