Brookwood is just north of South Bend off US 31 at the Niles Buchanan exit to the west.

The golf course is a parkland layout with a target style front nine through narrow fairways corridors over rolling terrain while the backside opens up a bit and is more forgiving. Most of the holes are isolated and separate with multiple water features, and sand traps guarding over half the modest, oval greens. There are 4 sets of tees to play ranging from 4,654 yards to 6,452 yards, the white tees play to 6,273 yards, 69.8/121, course and slope rating, designed by Joe Zalogy.
