The Warren Golf Club's northern edge borders the Indiana Toll Road on the northeast side of the Notre Dame campus with the balance of the layout through a natural area.

The golf course is a wide open, parkland layout with trees at the borders, Juday Creek and a pond impacting play on several holes, and well bunkered fairways and greens with ample risk/reward opportunities. It plays to 7,020 yards from the championship tees, 74.6/135, course/slope ratings with three other sets of tees, designed by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore in 2000.
