Bryan Park is a municipal golf complex with two 18 hole, championship golf courses located north of Greensboro off US 29 to the west on the east shore of Lake Townsend.
The original Player's Course provides for an entertaining and challenging round as it traverses 8 ponds/lakes and 80 sand traps over generally level terrain. It's a long and strong layout playing to 7,057 yards from the back tees, 73.8/133, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, originally designed by George Cobb and renovated in 1988 by Rees Jones.
The Champions Course is a parkland style design along fairways defined by trees with 97 sand traps, numerous grass bunkers and hollows, and seven holes bordering scenic, Lake Townsend. It can stretch now to 7,255 yards from the back tees, 75.4/140, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Rees Jones in 1990 and was upgraded/renovated in 2007 in preparation for the 2010 USGA Publinks tournament.
