Buffalo Hill is located on the north side of Kalispell meandering along the Stillwater River.

The Championship course is a challenging layout with narrow, tree lined, rolling and sloping fairways, water hazards and the River in play on over half the holes, numerous doglegs, and sand bunkers generally guarding the modest, contoured and sloping greens. The course was designed by Robert Muir Graves and from the Championship tees is 6,605 yards, with a 77.2/137, course/slope ratings slope with two shorter tees.
