Northern Pines is on the north side of Kalispell on US 93 in the Flathead Valley

The layout treks over a large tract of land with a blend of fairways traversing rolling meadows and tree-lined fairways with several holes along the Stillwater River. Additionally, there are four holes bordering large lakes, numerous doglegs, and sand traps dispersed along the fairways and securing the greens. It can play to 7,015 yards, 72.5/130, course/slope ratings from the back tees with three shorter sets of tees, and was designed by Andy North and Roger Packard in 1996,
