Burden Lake is a classic from the 1920s located on the east side of Burden Lake about 20 minutes from downtown Albany.

The golf course is a parkland layout providing a blend of narrow and broad, tree lined fairways along numerous ponds and wetlands. There's blind shots, doglegs, elevated tees and greens, and sand bunkers positioned greenside over land with some change in elevation. It plays to 6,205 yards, par of 71, 70.0/122, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees.
