Candler Hills is on the southwest side of Ocala a few miles west of the I-75 at the College St exit.

The layout meanders through and around the Top of the World residential development over level terrain. It's an interesting mix of holes with numerous doglegs, scattered trees lining the fairways, and as the dominant feature, an abundance of sand bunkers positioned solo, in groupings, or as long waste areas. There's a variety of tees from 4,877 yards to 7,333 yards, the blue tees are 6,110 yards, 68.2/117 course and slope ratings, designed by Gordy Lewis.
