Capitol City is southeast of Olympia in Lacey on Yelm Highway.

The course wanders through an established residential community with the fairways lined by trees. It's generally straightforward with only a few doglegs, a liberal amount of sand traps, and only one water hazard in play. There's three sets of tees from 5,535 yards to 6,578 yards, the White tees are 6,198 yards, 69.1/127, course/slope ratings, designed by Norman Woods.
