Cardinal Hills is nearly midway between Cincinnati and Louisville off I-75 at the US 421 exit to the north.

The golf course traverses rolling topography along fairways defined by trees. There's a host of blind shots, multiple ponds, and modest, oval or kidney shaped greens as targets. It's short at 5,614 yards, par 70, 70.0/113, course/slope ratings off the tips with one shorter tee, designed by Harold England.
