The Henry County CC is on the north side of New Castle well out in the country surrounded by farmland and forests.

The golf course is a parkland style layout roaming along scattered tree lined, broad fairways with some change in elevation, a few ponds and lakes affecting play, and sand bunkers mostly greenside. It plays to 6,721 yards from the tips 71.1/130 course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
