The Carlowden Country Club is 20 miles southeast of Watertown in Denmark, surrounded by farmland and forests.

The golf course's layout is straightforward, parkland-style, over gently rolling terrain along mostly broad, tree-lined fairways. There are several doglegs, numerous ponds and streams in play, and sand traps primarily around the greens. It's a short layout with a par of 72 at 6,067 yards from the back tees, 70.1/120 course/slope ratings, designed by T.H. Dolson.
