The Carlowden Country Club is 20 miles southeast of Watertown in Denmark surrounded by farmland and forests.

The golf course's layout is a straightforward, parkland design over gently rolling terrain along mostly broad, tree lined fairways. There's several doglegs, numerous ponds and streams in play, and sand traps primarily around the greens. It's a short layout with a par of 72 at 6,067 yards from the back tees, 70.1/120, course/slope ratings, designed by T.H. Dolson.
