Highland Meadows is on the north side of Watertown off I-81 at NY 342 to the east.

The parkland golf course ambles along scattered tree lined fairways with water in the form of Philomel Creek and a couple of ponds affecting play on several holes and a sparing use of sand bunkers. From the back tees it's 6,311 yards, 69.6/116, course/slope ratings and two shorter tees, designed by James A. Doolittle.
