Carolina Lakes is located south of Charlotte and east of Rock Hill off Hwy 521 in S.Carolina bordering a residential development east of the Catawba River.

The parkland golf course is a challenging but fair layout over slightly rolling terrain along multiple water hazards and well placed sand bunkers throughout with numerous risk/reward opportunities. It was designed by Tim Freeland and plays to 7,140 yards, 74.1/142, course/slope ratings from the tips with four shorter tee boxes.
