The Fort Mill Golf Club is located about 20 minutes south of Charlotte in Fort Mill off I-77 to the east.

The parkland layout moves over rolling hills with abundant character and interest where being able to move the ball off the tee is essential as well as a sharp short game. There's several holes with water hazards along with well bunkered fairways and greens. It plays to 6,364 yards from the men's tees, 70.0/124 course and slope ratings with two longer and two shorter tees. The golf course has an interesting history of architects with Donald Ross designing the front, George Cobb the back, and Clyde Johnson providing a renovation.
