Cascata is located toward Boulder City south of Henderson 30 minutes from the Strip, and has been dubbed "The Eighth Wonder of the golf world" due to the cost to develop.

The golf course climbs through the Nevada desert canyons, ridges, and hills along lush green, isolated fairways with a ribbon of rough and natural desert terrain at the fairways' borders. The course has a variety of significant elevation changes, sugary white sand bunkers, and a number of water features including waterfalls, lakes, or streams. It's a Rees Jones design and measures 7,137 yards, 74.6/143, course/slope from the tips with three shorter tees.
