Cattails G.C. is located between Ann Arbor and Livonia off I-96 or M-14 to 8 or 10 Mile, then Currie to Nine Mile.

The front nine travels through and around creeks and mitigation areas while the back nine is cut through a hardwood forest with a few wetland areas to navigate. The golf course was built on a former 160 acre horse farm and designed by John R. Williams in 1991. It can play to 6,436 yards, 72.1/131, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees.
