Caverns Country Club is on the west side of the Luray Airport just off US 340 and south of the Shenandoah River.

The views from the golf course are some of the most scenic in the Shenandoah Valley with the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah National Park as a backdrop. The course is a traditional layout with trees lining the hilly and sloping fairways leading to modest greens defended by sand bunkers. The course was designed by Malcolm Purdy in the early 1970s and from the back tees is 6,499 yards, 70.5/135, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
