Chalk Mountain is just off the 101 in Atascadero between Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo.

It's pure golf here along mostly tree lined fairways with a few open holes on rolling hills with creeks in play on 6 holes and modest, well protected greens. The course is fairly short at 6,299 yards, 70.5/125, course/slope ratings from the tips with two shorter tees, designed by Robert Muir Graves in 1980.
