Hunter Ranch is in northern San Luis Obispo County just off the 101 at CA 46 to the east.

The layout traverses oak tree studded, rolling terrain over varying degrees of elevation change. It has a little bit of everything in its design with forced carries over water hazards, blind shots, a bevy of sand traps and doglegs, and is visually stunning overall in a natural setting. There's four sets of tees and from the back tees the course plays to 6,741 yards, 72.7/138, course/slope ratings, designed by Ken Hunter and Mike McGinnis.
