Hunter Ranch is in northern San Luis Obispo County just off the 101 at CA 46 to the east.

The layout traverses oak tree-studded, rolling terrain over varying degrees of elevation change. It has a little bit of everything in its design with forced carries over water hazards, blind shots, a bevy of sand traps and doglegs, and is visually stunning overall in a natural setting. There are four sets of tees and from the back tees the course plays to 6,741 yards, 72.7/138, course/slope ratings, designed by Ken Hunter and Mike McGinnis.
