Charleston Springs is a Monmouth County municipal course located southwest of Freehold and west of Hightstown just south of Route 33 with two 18 hole layouts.

The North Course is a wide open, links-style layout while the South is a traditional, parkland design along broad fairways with stands of mature hardwoods at the margins. On both courses, the fairways are bordered with tall, native grasses and there's numerous water hazards in play along with a liberal use of sand bunkers in the landing zones and along the greens. The South course is 6,953 yards, 73.2/125, course/slope ratings from the tips, while the North is 7,011 yards, 72.4/126, course/slope ratings, designed by Mark Mungeam, both with three shorter tees.
