The Chattahoochee Golf Club is on the northern banks of Lake Sidney Lanier a few miles north of Gainesville just off Highway 60.

The layout winds through a pine forest over rolling terrain along broad fairway corridors in a scenic setting overall. There's no water in play, but the fairways and generous, oval greens are well bunkered. There are multiple sets of tee boxes with the white tees playing to 6,108 yards, 68.4/122, course/slope ratings, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr.
