Cherokee Ridge Country Club is 30 minutes south of Huntsville just off US 231 in Union City.

The golf course is within an upscale, residential development with most of the homes blocked by trees. The routing is carved through heavy, mature woods over rolling hills bordered by lakes and streams in the foothills of the Appalachians with three holes bordering an 80 foot waterfall into Lynn's Creek. There's four sets of tees from 5,190 yards to 6,574 yards, the white tees play to 6,108 yards, 68.0/124, course/slope ratings, designed by Sammy Dean.
