Gunter's Landing is between Huntsville and Gadsden on Route 1 on the north side of Guntersville Lake.

The routing is through a scenic setting along Lake Guntersville with each hole separate and isolated. It's a parkland-style design over hilly and sloping, tree-lined fairways with elevated tees and greens, numerous water hazards, and sand in play throughout the fairways and guarding the greens. It plays to 6,863 yards, 73.7/140, course/slope ratings from the back tees with three shorter sets of tees. It's a quality design by the owner/developer Jimmy Kennamer who'd never designed a course previously.
