Gunter's Landing is between Huntsville and Gadsden on Route 1 on the north side of Guntersville Lake.

The routing is through a scenic setting along Lake Guntersville with each hole separate and isolated. It's a parkland style design over hilly and sloping, tree lined fairways with elevated tees and greens, numerous water hazards, and sand in play throughout the fairways and guarding the greens. It plays to 6,863 yards, 73.7/140, course/slope ratings from the back tees with three shorter sets of tees. It's a quality design by the owner/developer Jimmy Kennamer who'd never designed a course previously.
