Columbia is off I-94 at exit 228 to the east, about two miles north of downtown Minneapolis.

Columbia is a municipal golf course winding along hilly, tree-lined fairways with either lakes, ponds, or streams on half the holes. It also has numerous OB stakes or fences, and the setting provides views of downtown Minneapolis. The golf course is relatively short at 6,371 yards, par 71, 70.0/122, course/slope ratings from the tips with two shorter tees.
