Columbia is off I-94 at exit 228 to the east about two miles north of downtown Minneapolis.

Columbia is a municipal golf course winding along hilly, tree lined fairways with either lakes, ponds, or streams on half the holes in addition to numerous OB stakes or fences with a setting providing views of downtown Minneapolis. The golf course is relatively short at 6,371 yards, par 71, 70.0/122, course/slope ratings from the tips with two shorter tees.
