Gross National is a municipal golf course located northeast of downtown Minneapolis off I-35W at St Anthony to the north.

The layout is a classic, parkland design over rolling topography on a generous tract of land with ample spacing between the holes. The fairways are lined by mature hardwoods with multiple ponds in play and sand bunkers defending several of the landing zones and most of the oval or kidney, shaped greens. It's 6,635 yards, 71.4/126, course/slope ratings off the back tees with three shorter tees, designed by W.D. Clark in 1925.
