Cottonwood Creek is a municipal golf course on the south side of Waco off I-35 at Loop 340 west to Bagby then north.

The golf course is over relatively level terrain along generally open fairways with scattered trees along the margins. There's multiple ponds and a pesky stream in play on the southern third of the layout in addition to 25+ sand bunkers positioned along the fairways and securing the greens. From the back tees it's 7,131 yards, 74.2/125, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, designed by Dye/Finger in 1985.
