The Cranston CC is on the south side of Providence in Cranston off either I-95 or I-295 at Route 37.

The golf course is a straightforward, parkland layout along a blend of broad and narrow, fairways with water hazards as the dominant feature including an island, par 3 green. The greensites are all shapes and sizes and generally well protected by a variety of sand traps. There's four sets of tees with the white tees playing to 6,209 yards, 71.3/124, course/slope ratings, a Geoffrey Cornish design.
