Cummings Cove is on the west side of Hendersonville, off Brevard Road, in an upscale residential development on the east side of the French Broad River.

The layout provides for numerous elevated tees as it moves along rolling, tree-lined fairways with a variety of doglegs. There are multiple lakes and streams with the sand bunkers positioned mostly around the greens. The backside is highlighted by three unique par 3s, with one virtually hanging from a cliff, and finishes with back-to-back par 5s. There are five sets of tee boxes with the middle tees at 6,158 yards, 67.8/121, and course/slope ratings, designed by Bob Cupp.
