Broadmoor Golf Links is just off I-26 to the west on the south side of the Asheville Airport on the east bank of the French Broad River.

The golf course is a parkland layout over undulating topography along broad fairways defined by stands of trees. Water in the form of streams and ponds dominates the course, as do pot and conventional sand bunkers along the landing zones and defending the greens. Karl Litten designed the course, which has four sets of tees overall, with the tips playing to 7,140 yards, 72.9/133, course/slope ratings.
