Cypress Lakes is northwest of Houston 20 minutes off the 290 at Cypress surrounded by a residential development with homes along the exterior holes.

The layout provides for somewhat narrow, tree lined fairways over land with a slight change in elevation. It's a drill in course management with well bunkered fairways and greens along and water in play on half the holes. It's a Jim Fazio design of 7,024 yards from the tips, 73.4/134, course/slope ratings with three shorter tee boxes.
