Deer Ridge is north of Columbus, just off I-71 at exit 165 to the east.

The course is a parkland-style design over rolling hills and along a blend of broad and narrow, tree-lined fairways in a natural setting without homes or development. It's generally playable overall, with little in the way of sand traps but several streams and ponds and numerous blind shots, which reward course management. It was designed by Brian Huntley in 1998 and plays to 6,584 yards, 71.8/129, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tee boxes.
