Denson's Creek is about 30 minutes south of Asheboro off I-73/74 at Biscoe in the Uwharrie Mountains.

The layout is a traditional, Carolina's style course meandering along pine and hardwood, tree lined fairways over rolling contours. It's an interesting and varied layout requiring course management along the fairways with a moderate amount of sand traps and several ponds leading to modest, well defended greens. It was designed by Phil McCriston with four sets of tees from 4,789 to 6,725 yards, the Blues are at 6,145 yards, 71.7/124, course/slope ratings.
