Diamond Woods is located 20 miles northwest of Eugene off OR 99 at Junction City.

The golf course is a scenic, parkland layout over rolling hills with the front side somewhat open while the back is chiseled through the trees in a remote, natural setting surrounded by farmland and forests. There's water hazards in play on seven holes with the occasional sand bunker along the fairways or guarding the greens. It was designed by Greg Doyle in 1997 and plays to 7,036 yards, 74.5/143, course/slope ratings from the back tees with four shorter tees.
