Dragonfly is on the north side of Fresno off Highway 41 at Avenue 12 on the west side of the San Joaquin River.

The golf course lumbers through a scenic setting along the lowland and wetlands of the River valley with natural corridors lining the holes and views of the Sierra Nevada range throughout the round. The front nine is somewhat target golf while the backside opens up a little but continues to require course management to avoid the water and sand in play especially on the closing holes from #13 on. It was designed by Gary Roger Baird in the late 1990s, and plays to 7,207 yards from the tips, the middle, white tees are 6,230 yards, 69.8/123 course and slope ratings.
