Madera Municipal is halfway between Fresno and Merced just off the 99 Freeway at the Ave 17 exit to the west.

The layout is a parkland style design with scattered trees lining all the fairways over level land with a generous amount of sand bunkers in play along in addition to water hazards on multiple holes.
