Drake Creek is on the east side of Paducah in Ledbetter roaming over lowland of the Ohio River and partially through a residential community.

The layout is a links-style design along broad, contoured fairways. There's Drake Creek and numerous water hazards in play on half the holes with a moderate amount of sand bunkers along the fairways and defending the generous greens. From the tips it's 6,714 yards with a 132 slope, from the white tees it's 6,215 yards, 69.2/127, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Rich Osborn in the late 1990s.
