Dubs Dread is off I-435 at Donahoo Road to the west 15 miles northwest of Kansas City.

The golf course was laid into a large, natural tract of land along fairways bordered by old growth, hardwood trees. There's ponds and streams in play on seven holes with several forced carries, numerous slight doglegs, and sand traps defend the small to mid-sized greens. From the back tees it's 6,993 yards, 73.8/133, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees. The golf course was designed by Jug McSpaden, a professional golfer in the early 30s and 40s, who was the first to shoot a 59 at a practice round at the Texas Open.
